LUDWICK, ROY SAMUEL, 78, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (May 31, 2000) at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg. He came here in the 1950s from his native Bardstown, Ky. He was a security officer for the St. Petersburg Times and retired as a toll bridge operator for the Belleair Beach Causeway. A graduate of the Louisville (Ky.) Radio School, he earlier worked in equipment maintenance for radio stations in Tampa and St. Petersburg. He was Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Wallin, Mount Washington, Ky.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Crematory, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg. Roy married Dorothy Hodge on 23 Apr 1944. (Dorothy Hodge was born on 2 Mar 1926.) |
